History Foundation Management Services was established in 1995 to provide comprehensive expertise, involving a multi-talented staff, to home care agencies and enable them to provide the best possible care as part of the continuum of services.
Mission Statement The mission of Foundation Management Services is to promote excellence in leadership through fostering each employee's individual talent. Our primary objective is to work with healthcare providers to develop, manage and promote fiscal integrity and quality patient care.
Management Team The Foundation Management Services team consists of multi-talented professionals whose experience includes up to 25 years in home care. Areas of expertise include financial & clinical management, human resource management, billing and collections, information systems and marketing/development.
Several members of our team are recognized nationally as experts and innovators in the home care industry. We regularly make presentations for the National Association for Home Care, Texas Association for Home Care, Home Care Aide Association of America and numerous other state and regional organizations and are active in industry committees and regulatory workgroups. Our Members are also on many editorial boards for national journals and newsletters. Executive Management MARCYLLE COMBS, RN, BS, CHCE Marcylle, the founder of Foundation Management Services, Inc., serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 1976 and began her home care experience in 1984. In her 20 years of home care experience she has held various positions including field nurse, director, administrator and owner/president of a highly successful multi-agency home health company. Marcylle is actively involved with state and national home care associations and currently serves on the State of Texas Home and Community Support Services Advisory Council. JANELLE HENRY Janelle is the Senior Vice President for Foundation Management Services, Inc. She served as the administrator for one of the largest home health agencies in Texas for four years. Janelle has been in the home health industry since 1986 and has worked in all areas of home care administration including billing and accounts payable. Her current responsibilites include directing administrative and information management functions, budget planning, money disbursement, billing, payroll operations, accounts payables and receivables. BECKIE HINZE, RN, BSN, CHCE Beckie currently holds the position of Vice President of Agency Operations at Foundation Management Services, Inc. She earned her degree from the University of Texas System School of Nursing in 1975 and entered the home care industry in 1984. Her experience in nursing includes field work, administrative and director positions in a variety of health care settings. Her experience in home health encompasses Medicare certified home health, hospice, state-funded and United Way programs for proprietary, hospital-based and non-profit organizations. LARRY LEAHY BS, MA, MHA, CHCE Larry currently serves as the Vice President of Finance. Larry has over 33 years of healthcare management experience and has been in homecare services since 1991. He has an extensive background in financial management having managed organizations with budgets from four million to over 196 million dollars. Larry has held graduate faculty positions at Baylor University, Trinity University, University of Texas, San Antonio and University of Minnesota. He currently serves on the Homecare University’s Certification Committee and on the advisory committee for BestWorks. BRENDA BEGGS, RN, CHCE, HCS-D Brenda currently holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Services at Foundation Management Services, Inc. Brenda began her home care experience in 1991 as a field nurse and has held multiple positions such as Clinical Admissions Nurse, Clinical Director, Administrator and Regional Director of Operations directly supervising and managing all areas of health care services within the agency and branch locations. Brenda's expertise includes process implementation, organizational development and regulatory compliance. ANGIE KING, BA Angie currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development and has been in home care since 1996. She is responsible for pursuing new business ventures and implementing the strategic goals and objectives of FMS, including hospices and home care agencies. She was instrumental in developing Creative Solutions, which provides education, consulting and specialty products to home care providers and is a key revenue producer for FMS. Angie is active in her community including the Dallas Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Government Affairs Commitee for the Texas association for Home Care. In 2004, she was voted FMS' Employee of the Year. Angie's expertise in business development is a valuable asset to the future of our companies. |
