ICD-10: An Overview Webinar

This webinar is designed for those in the home health industry who have a basic understanding of the ICD-9 coding classification system but do not have an understanding of the ICD-10 classification system. This will be a moderately paced class full of information that will give coders and administrators  the ability to identify what an agency needs to do to prepare for the transition and the impact moving to ICD-10 will have on the home health industry.

• Discuss history of ICD-9-CM
• Explain purpose of ICD-10-CM
• Analyze ICD-10-CM code structure
• Contrast differences between ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM
• Discuss importance of preparation
• Identify impact on home health industry
 

 This webinar offers 1 HCS-D hour.

 

All you will need to participate is a telephone, a computer with a monitor, an internet connection, and a room large enough for your staff. Your registration fee covers one phone & computer connection. You may have an unlimited number of attendees participating at one single connection. For additional sites, please register separately.
